Welcome to Perge Kenya — an online marketplace for decluttering and selling household items. By accessing or using www.perge.co.ke and related services (the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Perge Kenya, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use this site.

2. About Our Platform

Perge Kenya provides a peer-to-peer marketplace where users can list, buy, and sell household or second-hand items. We act as a facilitator and are not a party to sales contracts between buyers and sellers.

3. User Accounts

• Accounts are required to list or purchase items.
• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts suspected of fraud or policy violations.

4. Listings and Content

Sellers must ensure that their listings are accurate and that they legally own the items they sell. Prohibited items (illegal goods, hazardous materials, counterfeit items) must not be listed. Perge Kenya may review, hide, or remove listings that violate our rules.

By posting content, you grant Perge Kenya a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and promote your listings on the Platform and affiliated channels.

5. Payments and Transactions

Payments are processed through M-PESA. Sellers receive payouts after buyers confirm collection. Perge Kenya may charge a commission on successful sales to cover transaction processing and platform costs. Transactions performed outside the Platform are not covered by Perge Kenya.

6. Order Cancellations and Refunds

Buyers may cancel orders before the seller confirms the sale. Once an item is marked as collected, the sale is final. Refunds may be issued for verified fraud or undisclosed defects and are subject to review by Perge Kenya.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use Perge Kenya for fraudulent or illegal activities.
• Post false, defamatory, or harmful content.
• Attempt to disrupt or hack the Platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided “as is.” Perge Kenya does not guarantee uninterrupted access or the quality of items listed. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

We handle personal data per our Privacy Policy. Data is collected and used to improve the user experience and to secure transactions.

10. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, branding, and design are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce or reuse site content without written permission.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Updates will be posted here. Continued use of the Platform indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
